Leishen Intelligent LS 74A long range single-point distance sensor

LSLiDAR LS74A is a compact, fixed-angle Time-of-Flight rangefinder built for long-distance, single-point measurements in surveying, mapping, environmental sensing and defense tasks. It measures 10–1200 m on 30% reflectivity with ±1 m (1σ) accuracy at 905 nm, in a Class 1 eye-safe design compliant with IEC 60825-1 and 21 CFR 1040.10/.11 (per Laser Notice No. 56). The module outputs real-time distance and intensity over a serial link and supports a 1–10 Hz output rate via software.

Engineered for easy integration, LS74A runs on 3–12 V with ≤ 1.5 W power draw and uses a GH 1.25 6-pin connector for power and serial I/O. It communicates at 115 200 baud and exposes distance, temperature, version and status bytes per the documented frame map. The aluminum-shell unit measures 24 × 24 × 47 mm and weighs ~22 g, with operating temperature −20 to +65 °C. Installation is via side mounting holes; avoid housing damage and keep the optical mask clean for best performance.
