The 22 W, 975 nm high power single emitter bare bar, manufactured by II-VI Laser Enterprise, is engineered for efficient, high-output laser performance in compact system designs.

Emitting in the 958.5–962.5 nm range, it combines low threshold current with strong slope efficiency to support stable optical output and consistent spectral behavior. The 190 µm emitter width enables effective optical coupling while maintaining robust multimode performance .

When assembled on a suitable submount, the device delivers up to 22 W of optical power at operating currents around 20 A, with controlled voltage characteristics and a high polarisation ratio. Well-defined lateral and vertical far-field distributions provide predictable beam behaviour, simplifying optical design and thermal management in high-duty-cycle operating environments.
