Leishen Intelligent C8 3D mechanical LiDAR

The LSLIDAR C8 is an 8-channel, 360° mechanical Time-of-Flight LiDAR designed for reliable mid-range perception. It offers a detection range of up to 120 m (@70% reflectivity) with ±3 cm accuracy, supporting both single-echo (160k pts/s) and dual-echo (320k pts/s) modes. With a vertical field of view of −12° to +12° and selectable rotation speeds of 5/10/20 Hz, the C8 delivers clean and consistent point clouds for applications in robotics, ITS, mapping, and industrial automation.

Built for durability and integration, the sensor features an IP67 housing, wide operating temperature range (−20 °C to +60 °C), and shock/vibration resistance. It runs on 9–32 VDC with typical 10 W consumption, outputting data over 100 Base-TX Ethernet. Time synchronization is supported via GPS PPS, external PPS, or gPTP, with nanosecond-level timestamps and UTC embedding to ensure accurate sensor fusion. The compact form factor (Ø102 mm × 77.9 mm, 1050 g) allows flexible mounting across platforms.

The C8 is available in two connector layouts: bottom connector or side connector. These are purely mechanical variations and do not affect performance, but the choice must be specified at the time of order to match your installation needs. Standard accessories include an adapter cable with power, Ethernet, and GPS timing ports, with optional extension cables, interface box, and GPS sync board for multi-sensor setups. The C1 operates safely under Class I laser standards and is backed by a 12-month warranty.
